"The City of Sails" - that is what they call us here in Auckland and when you look around the Auckland waterfront you can see why. There is so much to do in Auckland and Prince's Wharf which is in the heart of the city makes the ideal location to start from. There are plenty of activities close by such as catching a Fullers Ferry right next door and discovering the beautiful islands such as Waiheke and the other Hauraki Gulf Islands. If you haven't been up the Sky Tower then you must be chicken or would rather go and see fish at Kelly Tarlton's Underwaterworld or go to the entertainment centre called THE EDGE or maybe the Auckland Museum. If you aren't the chicken type there is the Sky Jump ,

or the Auckland Harbour Bridge Climb and when you get to the top you might as well try the Auckland Harbour Bridge Jump

Then you could always try Canyoning in the sub-tropical rainforest of the West Coast Waitakere Ranges or bush walks at Piha could be what you are looking for. Only 40 minutes from Auckland Central (transport provided).
