tours, transport, travel agents, tourism guides, maps &
more. For what is on in the viaduct harbour check
this website.
"The
City of Sails" - that is what they call us here
in Auckland and when you look around the Auckland waterfront
you can see why. There is so much to do in Auckland and Prince's
Wharf which is in the heart of the city makes the ideal location
to start from. There are plenty of activities close by such
as catching a Fullers
Ferry right next door and discovering the beautiful islands
such as Waiheke
and the other Hauraki
Gulf Islands. We have the Maritime
Museum next door to explore or check out the
ocean photography at the gallery You might like to sail
with Pride of Auckland
or just walk around the Viaduct Village looking at all the
millions of dollars worth of boats and apartments. If you haven't
been up the Sky
Tower then you must be chicken or would rather go
and see fish at Kelly
Tarlton's Underwaterworld or go to the entertainment centre
called THE
EDGE or maybe the
Auckland Museum. If you aren't the chicken type there
is the Sky Jump , the
Auckland Harbour
Bridge Climb or the Auckland
Harbour Bridge Jump or better still try Canyoning
in the sub-tropical rainforest of the West Coast Waitakere
Ranges or
bush walks at Piha could be what you are looking for. Only
40 minutes from Auckland Central (transport provided).
Chicken,
fish, you must be getting hungry by now so let's talk about
food. With all the restaurants to try when Eating Out
you hardly need to leave Prince's Wharf because we have a variety
of fine restaurants right here such as White
Restaurant at the Hilton Hotel or Euro Restaurant or Float,
YNot, or the Brazilian
Wildfire Restaurant
, or Spice Indian Restaurant & Bar or the Lenin Restaurant
& Bar, the Limon
Cafe and Bar, the Neptune Restaurant or for breakfast the
Sierra Cafe and that's just a start. For many more restaurants
around Auckland and elsewhere go to menus.co.nz
, dineout.co.nz or time2dine.co.nz
